Do your bylaws need updating and you're not quite sure where to start?  Just want to know more about how your bylaws guide the work of your local unit?

Participants are urged to bring a copy of their bylaws to the workshop.

E-Learning does not meet the training requirement for obtaining liability insurance.

   All PTAs/PTSAs in Miami-Dade County receiving liability insurance through the County Council must have trained board members.

Training is defined as a current board member having attended a MDCC PTA/PTSA training or workshop, Florida PTA Leadership training, National PTA Convention or a local/regional training conducted by a council board member.

Per Miami-Dade School Board Policy all PTAs/PTSAs must have insurance to operate events and fundraising in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

Proof of registration to non-council events must be submitted with insurance payment.

Insurance/Council dues payments are due no later than September 30 of each year.
