Per Miami-Dade School Board Policy, All PTAs/PTSAs must have insurance to operate events and fundraising in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Training is defined as a current board member having attended a MDCC PTA/PTSA training or workshop, Florida PTA Leadership training July 16 – 18, 2010, National PTA Convention June 10 - 13 or a local/regional training conducted by a council board member. Proof of registration to non-council events must be submitted with insurance payment. Insurance/Council dues payments are due no later than September 30 of each year.
