Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA Scholarship recipients for 2010 were introduced at the annual Awards and Recognition Ceremony on May 27, 2010 at Jungle Island.  Six scholarships, each worth $1,000.00, were awarded this year. 

Garth Carey, Jr., Xavier Hopkins, and Ebony Robinson all graduates of Miami Carol City Sr. High received the Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA Littman Foundation Scholarship.

Lorena Hernandez from MAST Academy received the Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA Friends of Science Scholarship.

Andrea Angarica from MAST Academy and Juan Castro from South Dade Sr. High were the recipients of the Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA Scholarship.

Congratulations to the students and their families and to each school they represent for producing such outstanding scholars.
